The Appalachian Wagon Train passed the DollHaus on Wednesday, June 23, 1999. This is the second time since we moved here that the train has traveled along parts of the Old Kittaning Trail: In 1989 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Hastings and this year to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Loretto. Here are some pictures from this year's visit.
Penelope, Zachary and Pork Chop
Many of the travelers had dogs with them.
This was one of Penelope's favorite horses.
It took the wagons awhile to go down the hill past the spring.
